A blast from the Boston rock past, Scruffy the Cat playing "My Baby She's Alright". I've been told, but haven't confirmed, that this video was shot at The Rat in Kenmore Square. You should check out what singer/guitarist Charlie Chesterman is up to now. What was/is your favorite venue for live music in Boston? The best show you've seen in Boston?
More Boston rock here and here. More Charlie Chesterman here, including music to listen to. You can also visit the Scruffy the Cat unofficial homepage.
Update: Jay says it is The Rat, because he recognizes the grime (that's probably the same grime that kept falling all over me at a c. 1990 Lyres show at the Rat which was so loud some mysterious substance was literally being shaken off the ceiling) and John Daley votes for the Rat as well.

It looks like The Rat to me.
The Paradise wasn't a bad place to see a band, as long as your seat wasn't behind the big post.
And at the risk of really aging myself, the Tea Party was pretty good too.
Best show? Since I'm aging myself, Sly and the Family Stone at BC.
