Detail of Ward 20, Boston, showing Boston/Roxbury boundary line. Date unknown, probably 1910s/1920s.
This is the final (?) entry in the Boston/Roxbury boundary series. I knew I had seen a recent map with the old boundary line but couldn't remember where but while looking through my maps I came across an insurance map showing the area and lo and behold, there was the boundary line. The boundary can be seen running over Washington Street (the green line at the top of the map) and along the West End Street Railway property line between Hunneman and Thorndike, and then over Harrison Avenue before turning right to head to the water. Note: the map is oriented to run North/South, at least as closely as I can make it.
